2009

The business idea

In 2009, Juan Antonio Calles, CEO of Zerolynx, presented a first business plan to the Móstoles Business Incubator (Madrid) with the idea of embarking on a path that finally began 4 years later. His idea was to launch a value-added consulting firm on the market that would unite cybersecurity and intelligence in a single project. That first project was called Zink Security, it was a success, and its brand and exploitation rights were sold to Big4 in 2015.

2013

First collaborations

Four years later, in 2013, Juan Antonio Calles and Zerolynx partner Daniel González met through a mutual friend, Pablo González (co-founder with Juan Antonio of the popular blog "Flu-Project.com"). Daniel came from the financial world, working at that time for BBVA, and they began to collaborate through the "X1RedMasSegura" project to educate and raise awareness about online fraud in the conferences and workshops organized by this popular initiative of which Juan Antonio was also a co-founder.

2014

From Madrid to Vitoria-Gasteiz

In 2014, two other of our partners met, Miguel Ángel Guergué and Juan Antonio Calles, both being entrepreneurs and working, respectively, at PCI Security (Corporate Security company) and at Zink Security (Cybersecurity company). Miguel Ángel, with 40 years of history in the sector, had held relevant positions in the Ertzaintza during the 80s, 90s and 2000s and Juan Antonio had managed the Hacking Center of a large consulting firm. The professionalism and good atmosphere of the parties left a mark, and was the breeding ground that united the pieces of the puzzle years later. They both met on a business trip in Navarra, having been put in contact with another relevant figure and also a partner at Zerolynx, Lorenzo Díaz de Apodaca. Lorenzo, a businessman from Vitoria and CEO of Airestudio, collaborated with multiple companies throughout Spain linked to the world of drones, one of them located in the Móstoles Business Incubator where Juan Antonio started his first cybersecurity project. How small is the world!

2018

Formalization and commencement

In 2017, Juan Antonio and Daniel set out to relaunch that 2009 business plan in Madrid and start a new project (Zerolynx) that would cover a market niche, that of boutiques specialized in cybersecurity, and, for their part, Miguel Ángel and Lorenzo decided to do the same and at that same point in time but in Vitoria-Gasteiz, without even having spoken to each other. Another coincidence! Thus, in 2018 Miguel Ángel called Juan Antonio to tell him about this new project (Osane Consulting), and after seeing that their paths converged, they decided to unite both initiatives and start a joint project, Grupo Zerolynx, withOsane Consulting as a local company in Euskadi and Navarraand with Zerolynx as the spearhead in the rest of the national territory and in the different countries where the group operates.

2018-2023
